What We Do...
Our commitment to effecting change is multifaceted, with elections serving as one of our most potent tools. We dedicate ourselves year-round to ensuring that marginalized communities, particularly those of working-class backgrounds and people of color, are not only included in the political dialogue but are actively empowered to exercise their right to vote. Through targeted efforts, we cultivate meaningful engagement and provide compelling reasons for participation.
We invest in shaping the future landscape by nurturing the development of aspiring leaders and campaign strategists who hail from communities disproportionately affected by systemic injustices. By doing so, we foster a more representative and inclusive political arena.
In addition to our electoral efforts, we actively engage in advocacy to influence legislative outcomes and policies for the betterment of all. Central to our approach is the elevation of local voices and community leaders, ensuring their perspectives are not merely considered but integral to decision-making processes.
Join one of our projects!
We are a coalition of working families in Michigan fighting to pass comprehensive state legislation to prevent regulated monopoly corporations and companies seeking government contracts from making political contributions. We can no longer let them buy their way out of accountability and drown out the voice of the people!
In Michigan and all across the country, our members are fighting individual care denials and are WINNING people the care they need--and paid fo! Together, we are working to transform our health care system to put Care Over Cost and people over profit.
Relational organizing is defined as “preparing & supporting people to bring the power within their existing relationships to affect change.” In actuality is it turning a contact into a conversation and then into a person empowered to create change where they live.
