DRIVER LICENSES FOR ALL

In Michigan, a crucial campaign is underway—one that seeks to restore driver's licenses for all, regardless of immigration status, while simultaneously uplifting the dignity and respect inherent in their lives. The discriminatory license ban in Michigan not only impedes the safety and freedom of undocumented individuals but also perpetuates a system of inequality and injustice.

At the forefront of this movement is the Drive Michigan Forward (DMF) coalition—a statewide coalition dedicated to harnessing the wisdom, expertise, and creativity of undocumented individuals and allies. Together, we are forging a path toward legislative change, advocating for the passage of DRIVE SAFE bills in the Michigan legislature.

Central to the coalition's mission is the fundamental belief in liberation and dignity for all. Guided by principles of justice, respect, transparency, collaboration, and love, we work tirelessly to dismantle barriers and foster a more inclusive society.
